You can’t fix what you don’t understand.

Mist rising through tall native forest, symbolising hidden patterns and emerging clarity.

Most workforces don’t know what they’re missing when it comes to Aboriginal cultural safety.

You’ve got good intentions.
Maybe a RAP on the shelf. Maybe a training session or two ticked off.

But when it comes to day-to-day reality—what your staff actually experience, what your leaders assume, and where the real risks sit—most organisations are still flying blind.

The Workforce Cultural Capability Snapshot is a fast, focused diagnostic designed to change that.

10 days. Real data. No assumptions.

I build the survey. You send it out using the swipe copy I provide—tailored for your team.

I survey a cross-section of your organisation—from executive leadership to front line—to map where you really sit when it comes to Aboriginal cultural capability.

Then I analyse the results and work directly with your leaders to unpack what they mean.

What I hand back isn’t just a data set—it’s a reality check:

  • The gaps you’ve been avoiding

  • The risks leadership hasn’t seen

  • The readiness (or resistance) across roles

  • And the conversations you need to start—but probably haven’t

This isn’t consultancy. It’s clarity.
And it’s the strongest foundation you can build before investing in training, recruitment, or strategy.

What This Looks Like in Practice

One organisation I worked with thought they were doing well—senior leaders spoke the right language, and the RAP was proudly displayed.

But the snapshot told a different story.

Frontline staff were reporting fear, frustration, and silence.
Leaders thought they were supporting Aboriginal staff.
Aboriginal staff were planning their exit.

That gap was the turning point.

They didn’t need more training.
They needed to listen—to the data, and to the people already raising the flag.

This is what the Workforce Cultural Capability Snapshot makes visible.
And once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

This Snapshot Is For You If…

  • You’ve run cultural awareness training, but you’re not seeing change

  • Your team talks about inclusion, but you’re still losing Aboriginal staff

  • You’ve got a RAP—but not much clarity beyond that

  • You’re not sure where the resistance is, or what to do next

  • You want to act—but you don’t want to get it wrong

If that’s you, this isn’t just useful. It’s necessary.

  • Laying the groundwork for safer, smarter Aboriginal employment

I don’t do mass-scale surveys or hands-off reports. I work with a handful of committed organisations at a time—so the insight actually sticks.

FAQs for Workforce Aboriginal Cultural Capability Snapshot

What size organisation is this for?
The Snapshot works best for teams of 30–300, but I’ve delivered it for both smaller and larger groups. If in doubt—ask.

Do we need a RAP or existing strategy in place?
No. This is often the first step before building a strategy. You don’t need to have everything sorted—you just need to be ready to look honestly.

Is this anonymous?
Yes. The survey is anonymous, and we make that clear to participants.

If your team is small or segmented in ways that might affect privacy, I’ll advise you on the best setup—so you get honest data without putting anyone at risk.

How long does it take?
10 days for the survey. 2 weeks total from setup to insight report. If you need more time for internal comms or scheduling, we build that in.

Is this cultural awareness training?
No. It’s what comes before the training—so you know what your team actually needs. That said, many clients go on to book my Aboriginal Cultural Awareness for Workplaces sessions after completing the Snapshot.

Ready to See What’s Really Going On?

No guesswork. No fluff. Just insight you can act on.

I only run a few of these each month.
